"Wide Angle: With a Bullet" (9 p.m., PBS): The documentary series begins its fifth season with an episode on gang wars in El Salvador, which exploded in the mid-1990s after thousands of illegal Salvadoran immigrants deported from U.S. jails brought a culture of violence back to their homeland. The program follows the inner workings of the 18 gang as it battles the rival MS gang for control of the streets of the Salvadoran capital.
