FRIDAY
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Sidewalk sales sponsored by Salem Retail and Business Association.4-7 p.m.: Strawberry Festival at First United Methodist Church, 244 S. Broadway Ave.7-9 p.m.: Stamp Cachet Art Auction and Jazz Band, Butler Institute of American Art, Salem Branch, 343 E. State St.
SATURDAY
7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Frank A. Zamarelli Sr. Memorial Pancake Breakfast, St. Paul School, 925 E. State St., sponsored by North Columbiana Chapter of American Red Cross. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children.9 a.m.: Lion's 5K Run, Begins and ends at Salem Community Center, 1098 N.
