Noah's Lost Ark Animal Sanctuary Bike Run on Sunday will begin at Rocky's Corner Tavern, 6292 Mahoning Ave., Austintown. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m., and the first bike out will be at noon. There will be a police escort from the tavern to the sanctuary. The fee is $10 a rider and $10 a passenger. There will be free food and pop, prizes, a 50-50 raffle and music. Proceeds will benefit severely abused and neglected animals.
FESTIVALS
Paradise United Church of Christ, corner of New Buffalo and Calla roads, will have a lawn festival from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. There will be chicken or sausage sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, sloppy Joes, sides and dessert to eat in or take out, as well as music, games, classic cars and motorcycles and a Chinese auction.
GOLF OUTING
American Cancer Society will hold a Relay for Life golf outing July 28 at Deer Creek Golf Course in Hubbard. The entry fee is $50 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, beverages, snacks, prizes, raffles, a barbecue lunch and a dinner. Registration is at 9 a.m. followed by shotgun start at 10.
