Reception to be at Saxon Club for Lease 50th

XSALEM -- Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lease of Carey Road will be honored as they celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during an open house reception to be held from 1 to 4 p.m. July 15 at the Saxon Club on state Route 9.
Friends and relatives have been invited to attend the event by the couple's family, Paul and Sue Lease and Scott and Becky Lease, all of Salem; David and Pam Lease and Dan Lease, all of Virginia; and Don and Chris Lease of Washingtonville. Two of the couple's seven grandchildren are deceased.
The former Mary Lou Sturgeon and Mr. Lease were united in marriage July 1, 1956, at First Friends Church.
Mrs. Lease was employed at a local flower shop, and her husband was employed by the Salona Supply Co. and Bliss Manufacturing Co. in Salem. Both are now retired.
