XYOUNGSTOWN -- Nuptial vows were exchanged by Jodi Lyn Jayne, 233 Westminster Ave., and John Paul Kelly, 3237 Kirk Road, as they were united in marriage by the Rev. Kenneth Kelly during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony June 3 at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
The couple were honored at a reception at the Operating Engineers Union Hall in Boardman. After a wedding trip to Jamaica, they live at the Kirk Road address.
Parents of the bride are Dr. Stephen and Susan Ausmann, 2995 Meadow Lane, and the groom's parents are the Rev. Kenneth and Carol Kelly, 323 Homewood Ave. S.E., Warren.
The bride's strapless A-line gown of white satin was designed with a beaded bodice and a chapel train. Her veil was gathered to a Swarovski crystal tiara.
Wearing celeron green gowns were the bride's sister and honor attendant, Carly Jayne, and the bridesmaids, Barbara Kelly, the groom's sister-in-law; and his niece, Kelly Cypher. Flower girls were Emily and Kendra Kelly, nieces of the groom.
Best man was the groom's brother, Steven Kelly, and groomsmen were Daniel Kelly, also his brother, and Christopher Arnold.
The bride graduated with a bachelor's degree in education from Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a master's in special education-autism. She is a teacher at the Rich Center for Autism at YSU. The groom is a teacher at Life Skills Center of Trumbull County in Warren. He graduated from YSU with a bachelor's in secondary education and a master's in administration.
