Cruise arranged in celebration of Franko 50th

XYOUNGSTOWN -- A mid-June family cruise to the western Caribbean was arranged in celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Franko of Youngstown.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children and their spouses, Rick and Nancy Franko of Poland, Judy and Brad Bloomberg of Boardman, Marianne and Jeff Semivan of Cleveland, Janet and Matt Caiazza of New Castle, Pa., and Katie and Len Brush of Manassas, Va. There are also five grandchildren in the family.
Married June 16, 1956, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, the couple are members of St. Matthias Church, the YMCA and the Youngstown State University Penquin Club.
Mrs. Franko, the former Ann Mahin, is a homemaker.
Mr. Franko was employed by Youngstown City School District and retired in 1993 as a teacher and coach at Woodrow Wilson High School.
