XLAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The Little White Wedding Chapel provided the setting for the June 2 wedding of Christina Marie Haas and Shawn Edward Smith, both of Scottsdale, Ariz.
The bride's parents are Tami Haas of Arizona and Charles Anthony Sr. and Rebecca Haas of North Carolina.
The groom is a son of Carole Smith of Youngstown and the late Minor T. Smith.
The couple have postponed their wedding trip to Hawaii until the spring and live in Scottsdale.
The bride graduated from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz., with bachelor's degrees in education and special education and is pursuing a master's in education at Ottawa University in Arizona. She is a teacher and specialist with children with autism in Scottsdale.
The groom is a registered charge nurse with children and adolescents at a behavioral health center in Phoenix. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing and is pursuing a master's degree in nursing education at the University of Phoenix in Arizona.
