Children host anniversary event for Ruggiero 50th

XAUSTINTOWN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ruggiero, 75 Rosemont Ave., was celebrated July 8 at Up A Creek Restaurant in Warren.
Invitations for the event were extended by the couple's family, Karen Hoag of Cleveland, Annette and Chuck Arneman of Columbus, Mark and Cathy Matash of Niles, and Frank and Yong Ruggiero of Washington. Rounding out the family circle are eight grandchildren.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown was the setting on July 7, 1956, as the former Barbara Palermo and Mr. Ruggiero were united in marriage. They are members of St. Brendan Church, Youngstown.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Ruggiero are retired, she from Astra Garage Doors Co. in Youngstown and he from Wean United in Youngstown. Mr. Ruggiero served with the Ohio National Guard.
