Rondinelli game up on Astro

STRUTHERS -- Rondinelli Tuxedo pounded out 15 hits and used a pair of five-run innings Saturday to win the first game of their second-round Class B League playoff series against the Astro Falcons, 12-8.
Matt Katich hit a three-run homer, while Phil Double had four hits, including a double, for Rondinelli.
Tony Brunetti, Cory Nesbitt and Corey Collins also had two hits while Collins picked up the save in relief of Vince Riola.
Cameron Konop and Evan Proach had two hits each for Astro Falcons, who committed five errors.
The second game of the best-of-3 series is scheduled at Cene Park today at 8 p.m.
The first game of the R & amp; J Trucking/Livi Steel series was played after deadline. The second game of that series is today at Cene Park, starting at 5:30 p.m.
