Montgomery, Myers wedding to be Sept. 23

POLAND -- J. Mark and Kathleen Montgomery, 147 N. Main St., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Emily Jane Montgomery, 139 Mapleview Court, New Middletown, and Jason Carl Myers of the same address, a son of Carl and Mary Myers, 5199 Columbiana Road, New Springfield.
The bride-elect graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Youngstown State University.
The future groom, an electrical engineer with SMS Millcraft in East Palestine, earned a bachelor's degree in applied science at YSU.
The couple will be married in an open ceremony that will take place at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 23 at Poland United Methodist Church. Later that day, a reception will be held by invitation at The Georgetown in Boardman.
