Mercer County VA facility to move to new site
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Mercer County veterans will be getting expanded services from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in a new facility.
The VA Mercer County Community Based Outpatient Clinic will be relocated to The Arbors, Suite 110 at 295 N. Kerrwood Drive.
The new location will offer primary care, behavior health and physical therapy to enrolled veterans five days a week. A satellite office for the Butler VA's Home Based Primary Care Program will be in that office, too. That program serves Mercer and surrounding counties.
A date for opening the facility has not been set, according to VA officials. All services will be given at the Butler VA until the clinic is ready. The new clinic will replace one formerly located in Farrell.
This new satellite location will be the first to offer physical therapy. Other satellite offices are in Armstrong, Clarion, Lawrence and Venango counties.
