GIVING CHILDREN A CHANCE

Truesdale Ave., Youngstown. The free camp, planned from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays through July 31, is geared to children from 7 to 13 years old. Camp activities include crafts, music and a newspaper called "Little Friends." A highlight will be a parade at 10 a.m. July 17 on East Side streets. Meals are being donated by the Summer Food Program of Mahoning-Youngstown Community Action Partnership. Volunteers are still needed; call (330) 747-2273.
