Krystyne Evans
Four local people have earned their doctor of pharmacy degrees from the College of Pharmacy at Ohio Northern University, Ada. They are Krystyne M. Evans, Pamela A. Grabert, Rachel M. VanSuch and Michael J. Lisko Jr.
Evans is a daughter of James and Dianalyn Evans of Boardman. She also earned a minor in dance at Ohio Northern. She was active in Kappa Epsilon pharmacy fraternity for women and was on the school's cheerleading squad. She is a graduate of Canfield High School.
Pamela Grabert
Grabert, daughter of Steven and Christine Grabert of Youngstown, earned her degree with high distinction. She was active in Amnesty International, Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honorary, Rho Chi Society pharmacy honorary, Kappa Epsilon pharmacy fraternity for women, Mortar Board scholastic honorary, the Academy of Students of Pharmacy, Alpha Lambda Delta scholastic honorary for freshman women and the ski club. She is a graduate of Boardman High School.
Rachel VanSuch
VanSuch, a daughter of Michael and Jacquelyn VanSuch of Campbell, also earned a minor in biomedical sciences and business administration. She was active in Phi Lambda Sigma pharmacy honorary. Dr. VanSuch is a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.
Michael Lisko Jr.
Lisko, a son of Michael and Debra Lisko of Canfield, was active in Kappa Psi social fraternity. He is a graduate of Canfield High School.
Jennifer Watkins
Jennifer Lynn Watkins of Hubbard, daughter of Ray and Nancy Watkins of Hubbard, has received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Watkins earned a bachelor's degree in zoology from OSU in 1999, and she is a 1994 graduate of Hubbard High School. She has accepted a position with CVS Pharmacy in Sarasota, Fla.
Jennifer Kantaras
Jennifer M. Kantaras of Poland has received her doctor of pharmacy degree from Lake Eric College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Pharmacy in Erie, Pa.
Dr. Kantaras is the daughter of Steven and Jean Kantaras of Poland. She is a 2000 graduate of Poland Seminary High School and completed her pre-pharmacy degree at Youngstown State University. She has taken a position with Giant Eagle Pharmacy in Akron.
Heather Judin
Heather M. Judin, daughter of George and Judy Hamrock of Poland, and Larry and Peggy Clark of Florida, has received a doctor of pharmacy degree from Ohio State University.
A 1994 graduate of Poland Seminary High School, she received a bachelor's degree in dietetics from the coordinated program at Youngstown State University.
She has completed externships over the past year at Kids 'n' Cures of Boardman, Medco Health Solutions, Riverside Methodist Hospital, Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital Intensive Care Unit, McConnell Heart Center Anti-Coagulation Clinic and Grandview Family Practice, all of Columbus. Dr. Judin has accepted a position with Giant Eagle in Columbus.
