Champion gears for car, bike, truck show

CHAMPION -- Mahoning Avenue on Sunday will be the stage for a car, bike and truck show plus benefit concert. The 17th annual event at and around Fordeley's Music, 4922 Mahoning, starts with registration from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with trophies awarded at 6 p.m.
Frank Fordeley explained that this year's event benefits the family of the late Erma Bayus, a long-time sponsor of the show. Her family's Willow Lake is one of this year's sponsors. There will be five bands.
