McLaughlin attends convention as 2006 Mother of the Year



RICHFIELD -- Tammy McLaughlin of Youngstown, an 18-year member of the Youngstown Mothers of Twins Club, attended the annual Ohio Federation of Mothers of Twins Clubs convention June 23-25 in Richfield.
McLaughlin represented the local club as its 2006 Mother of the Year. She was crowned during a recent dinner and celebration held at Johnny's Restaurant in Boardman.
McLaughlin and her husband, Tom, are the parents of identical twin daughters, Jeanette and Jennifer, who are 18.
She serves as the club's recording secretary and has been chairman of numerous committees. She has also served as treasurer for Home and School and has been a teacher's aide and playground supervisor.
During the state convention, Jolene Kopena of Toledo was named State Mother of the Year.
