Federal-local sting finds 400 pot plants

NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration and Springfield Township police who used a search warrant to enter 4182 E. Calla Road on Wednesday confiscated roughly 400 marijuana plants, said Springfield Township Police Chief Matt Mohn.
He said growing equipment, one shotgun and three rifles were also taken. The chief said the raid likely represents the largest marijuana-growing operation ever found in the township. No arrests were made and the investigation continues.
Mohn said the house is occupied by Richard Lucicosky and his wife and son, who were home at the time of the search.
