Weimer-Myers engagement is announced

XWARREN -- Ralph and Linda Weimer, 8676 Squirrel Hill, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Gretchen Weimer of the same address, and John Myers, 908 Stockton Ridge, Cranberry, Pa., a son of Thomas and Jonette Myers, 18 Maplecrest Drive, Zelienople, Pa.
Miss Weimer and Mr. Myers graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where she received a master's degree in speech language pathology and he, a master's in speech language pathology and a principal's certification K-12. They are speech pathologists with Midwestern Intermediate Unit 4 in Grove City, Pa.
The couple have planned an open wedding for 3 p.m. Aug. 5 at North Mar Church. They will extend invitations for their evening reception at Leo's Ristorant & eacute; in Howland.
