Vacant house's basement fire causes $10,000 in damage

WARREN -- A fire caused $10,000 worth of damage to a vacant house at 219 Idlewood St., according to the Warren Fire Department. The fire, at 7:11 p.m. Wednesday, began under the basement steps and was confined to the basement. The cause is under investigation.
