Mother reports daughter's drug use to police

LIBERTY --Police have charged a township woman with felony drug possession, and misdemeanor drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia, after her mother told police about drugs present in their Holly Drive apartment.
Juanita Rose Peyatt, 26, was arrested then released on her own personal recognizance pending arraignment.
A woman called police from the apartment manager's office and told officers her daughter had been "high" on OxyContin, a painkiller, for the better part of the day.
Reports said the woman, Peyatt's mother, told officers she was concerned about the welfare of Peyatt's two children, who also live in the apartment.
Officers searched the apartment and found nine syringes, half of an OxyContin tablet and other suspected drug paraphernalia.
