Fox pitches R & amp;J to opening win
Rondinelli's rolled 13-3 in the other Class B playoff opener.
STRUTHERS -- Joe Fox tossed a two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts to lead R & amp;J Trucking to a 4-0 victory over Wharmby Sports Tuesday in the opening game of the Class B playoffs at Cene Park.
Ed Rohan doubled and tripled as R & amp;J Trucking won the first of the best-of-three set.
David Patrick had three hits and drove in two runs for R & amp;J.
Todd Finn had the only hits for Wharmby while Tom Popadak tossed a complete game in the loss with seven strikeouts.
Game two will be played tonight at 8.

Phil Double had three hits, while Andy Dobson, Tony Brunetti, Matt Katich, and Frank Rosile added two for Rondinelli, which had 15 hits in its playoff opener.
Brunetti had three RBIs and Corey Collins struck out nine in a five-inning victory.
Brett Grabman had two hits for Mink, which committed five errors. Game two will be played tonight at 8 p.m. on Cene 1.
Class Little b
Rondinelli edged R & amp;J Trucking, 1-0, in the first game of the little b championship series, then R & amp;J returned the favor with an 8-2 victory to tie the series Wednesday at Cene Park.
The deciding game will be played at 6 p.m. today at Cene 2.
In the first game, Mike Carnahan singled home Marc Kanetsky with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning for the only run.
Kanetsky singled with one out and after Corey Hitt reached on an error, Carnahan drove home the winning run.
Steve Zubyk went the first seven innings for Rondinelli with two strikeouts, with Roberto Morales getting the win with two hitless innings.
Nick McGaghan had two hits for R & amp;J Trucking while David Wright pitched seven scoreless innings with seven strikeouts.
In the second game, Ross Revella pitched a two-hitter with nine strikeouts for R & amp;J.
Mark Lapikas had two hits for R & amp;J, which used a five-run sixth inning to break it open. Robert Switka tossed a complete game for Rondinelli and added a double. Roberto Morales had a triple for Rondinelli's other hit.
