Drug paraphernalia: An East McKinley Way woman told police she discovered several items, likely used to smoke marijuana, in her son's bedroom.
June 30
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 23-year-old Poland man near Friendly's Restaurant, 3 W. McKinley Way, on a domestic-violence charge. The man's girlfriend alleged he bit her after trying to force her into their vehicle during an argument. The woman had a fresh bite mark, officers said.
Forgery: An employee at Home Savings and Loan, 202 S. Main St., reported at least one business check had been stolen, and that three people forged and passed several checks. The loss amounted to about $10,900.

Drug paraphernalia: While conducting a traffic stop on U.S. Route 224 near Tala Drive, police arrested a 24-year-old New Castle, Pa., man after saying they found a syringe and cellophane with suspicious residue. The charge was possession of drug-abuse instruments.

Stolen property: Police arrested a Youngstown man, 61, during a traffic stop and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia after saying they found a suspected crack pipe. The man was re-arrested on charges of receiving stolen property and carrying a concealed weapon after officers said he stole a newspaper and had a knife in his pocket.
Misuse of a credit card: Someone discovered a fraudulent purchase had been made using a customer's credit card at Mega Co. Inc., 7885 Southern Blvd.
Theft: A motorist pumped $42.12 worth of gasoline at Country Fair Food Store, 7465 South Ave., without paying.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of her purse from a shopping cart while at Marc's, 7121 Tiffany Blvd.
Theft: A man in the 100 block of Creston Drive reported items stolen from his vehicle, and that his trailer had been used without permission.
Arrest: Police picked up an 18-year-old Boardman woman on a warrant charging her with falsification. She was accused of filing a false police report alleging a domestic situation.
Arrest: While investigating a robbery at Value City Department Store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road, authorities arrested a Youngstown woman, 45, after learning she was wanted on a warrant from Trumbull County charging her with theft.
Citation: A 52-year-old Boardman man was cited on a charge of disorderly conduct while intoxicated after police say they found an intoxicated person in the road.
Arrest: After stopping her vehicle, officers took a 32-year-old Youngstown woman into custody. She was wanted on felony warrants from Boardman charging her with two counts each of receiving stolen property and forgery.

Breaking and entering: A man reported someone entered his garage in the 300 block of Tudor Lane and took two bicycles.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into Lonardo's Greenhouse, 8434 Southern Blvd.
Truck theft: An employee at Budget Truck Rental, 198 Palestine Drive, reported the theft of a truck.
Burglary: A woman discovered a break-in to her apartment in the 7400 block of Becky Court.
Theft: A license plate was removed from a vehicle at the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Police arrested a 15-year-old Youngstown girl on a theft charge after merchandise was stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A Garrettsville woman, 22, and a 21-year-old Athens, Ohio, woman faced theft charges after items were stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Police arrested a girl, 17, and a woman, 20, both from Youngstown, on theft charges after property was taken from Value City Department Store.
Theft: Merchandise was stolen from Best Buy, 561 Youngstown-Poland Road.
Theft: A woman in the 7300 block of West Boulevard discovered a license plate missing from her vehicle.
Drugs: While conducting a traffic stop near Home Depot, authorities took a 58-year-old Lowellville man and a 55-year-old Struthers man into custody. The older man faced two counts of possession of drugs and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia; the other was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon.
Assault: A man reported a fight involving five people at Salty Grogs, 1203 Boardman-Poland Road, in which two were injured.
Arrest: Officers arrested a 16-year-old Youngstown boy at the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center, Youngstown, on an aggravated robbery charge relating to a crime in the township.

Criminal damaging: Someone used a key to damage a vehicle's finish in the 30 block of Clifton Drive.
Theft: A company-owned truck was broken into at DHL-Vans Express in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Items were stolen from Family Dollar, 4028 Market St.
Theft/forgery: A Boardman woman told police her signature was forged and that money was missing from her account at Sky Bank, 5754 Youngstown-Poland Road.
Burglary: A man reported a break-in to his residence in the 1800 block of Canavan Drive.
Theft: Officers apprehended a 19-year-old Youngstown woman and charged her with theft after property was stolen from Value City Department Store. Police also cited a Youngstown girl, 15, on a disorderly-conduct charge.
Criminal damaging: A man came out of Cinemark Movies 8, 469 Boardman-Poland Road, and found damage to his truck.
Assault: A man reported being assaulted at his home in the 3900 block of South Schenley Avenue.
Arrest: Authorities arrested a Youngstown man, 50, near Hillman Way and Midlothian Boulevard on charges of theft and carrying a concealed weapon after saying he had a knife.
Arrest: Police apprehended a 32-year-old Darlington, Pa., woman at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive, on charges of deception to obtain a dangerous drug and escape, both felonies, and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.
