YOUNGSTOWN -- Nuptial vows were exchanged by Nicole Marie Julian and Fredrick Henry Beehler as they were united in marriage May 27 during a 2 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Dale Giffin at Zion Lutheran Church.
A reception was held afterward at the Maronite Center to honor the daughter of Michael and Gretchen Julian, 150 Overhill Road, Boardman, and son of Herbert and Catherine Beehler, 1235 N. Benton Road, Salem.
The couple have postponed their wedding trip to Aruba until September and live at 4111 Howard St.
The bride's diamond-white ballgown was designed with an empire waist and a chapel train, and the bodice was enhanced with beading.
Gowned in red were the bride's sister and honor attendant, Kelly Julian, and the bridesmaids, Tammy Mikol, the groom's sister, and Theresa Vigliotti, Colleen Deley, Holli Poulakos, Maria Owens and Marcie Consiglio.
Jason Dailey performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Earl Anderson, the groom's cousin, and Ben Szmara, Charlie Smith, John Fabian, Ben Esposito and Vito Consiglio. His nephews, Daniel and Jacob Mikol, were ring bearers.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree at Youngstown State University and is a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
The groom is a firefighter and state-certified fire instructor with the city of Youngstown. He graduated from YSU with a degree in paramedicine.
