POLAND -- Kelly Ponigar, a daughter of John and Cheryl Ponigar of Poland, and Vincent Dobransky, a son of Darryl and Rosemary Dobransky of Austintown, were united in marriage June 3 at Holy Family Church.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Revs. Chris Luoni and John Trimbur.
After accepting congratulations during a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman, the couple left on a wedding trip to Aruba.
They live in Boardman.
The bride wore a strapless silk gown with crystals and beading enhancing the bodice and flowing down the skirt.
Victorian-lilac gowns were worn by the bride's sisters and honor attendants, Carri Toto and Sherri Pesce, both of Columbus. Similarly attired were the bridesmaids, Melanie Koontz of Boardman; Amy Angelo of Poland; Nerole Tibolla of Raleigh, N.C.; Sara Solvesky of Austintown; and Lindsay Gardner of Columbiana.
Sharing the duties of best man were the groom's uncle, Timothy Wirtz of Austintown, and his brother, Michael Dobransky of San Antonio, Texas. Serving as groomsmen were Jeff Ryznar of Chicago; John Kaminski and Chad Kilmer, both of Cleveland; Brian Zone of Austintown; and Chris Gabriel and Joe Warino, both of Columbus.
The bride and groom graduated from Youngstown State University with bachelor's degrees, hers in education and his in business administration.
