YOUNGSTOWN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony June 3 at St. Casimir Church as Elizabeth Ann Burkepile, 48 S. Portland Ave., and Jason Alan Kolenich, 4735 Logan Arms Drive, were united in marriage.
Afterward a reception was held at Ciminero's Banquet Centre in Niles to honor the daughter of Richard and Katherine Burkepile, 1655-A W. Longview Ave., Mansfield, and the son of Richard and Karen Kolenich, also of 4735 Logan Arms Drive.
The bride's strapless satin gown featured a beaded lace overlay, and the split-front skirt flowed into a sweep train.
Wearing white tops and varied-colored skirts were Karla Wrobel, the honor attendant; the bridesmaids, Melissa Query, Keri Ensign, Lori Ciminero and Katie Kolenich; and the junior bridesmaid, Autumn Burkepile. Flower girl was Alexis Kolenich.
Serving as best man was Edwin Mikula, and groomsmen were Brian Duchnak, Anthony Switzer, Matthew Ciminero and Greg Mauser. Junior groomsmen was Logan Burkepile, and ring bearer was Michael Query. Guests were ushered by Kenneth Hays and Matt Mikula.
The bride served eight years with the U.S. Army Reserves and is employed in inside sales-customer service with CMC Impact Metals of Trussville, Ala.
The groom, a server at Lone Star Steak House in Niles, is pursuing a degree in integrated social studies-education at Youngstown State University.
The couple will live at 2415 Manassas Drive, Birmingham, Ala.
