Accident on Route 11 injures five people

HOWLAND -- Five people were taken to hospitals after an accident on state Route 11 north of state Route 82, said the Warren post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The accident, which happened at 4:43 p.m. Monday, stopped traffic on the highway, the patrol said.
Mary Lou Sankovich, 48, of Girard was southbound on Route 11 when her vehicle hit a disabled vehicle on the side of the highway, the patrol said. She was treated at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital, the patrol said.
The driver of the disabled vehicle, Tina Klink, and her passengers, John Klink, 14, Kara Klink, 12, and Jena Cario, 11, all of Girard, all were treated at Forum Health Northside Medical Center, the patrol said.
