Murray-Tirpack troth announced, wedding planned

XBOARDMAN -- Alan and Joyce Murray, 823 Park Harbour Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Meagan Murray of the same address, and Ken Tirpack, 818 Brookfield Drive, a son of Ken and Marian Tirpack, 817 Trailwood Drive.
The couple have chosen Aug. 12 for their open wedding at Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Austintown. The ceremony will take place at 2:30 p.m., and that evening a reception will be held by invitation at Antone's Banquet Centre.
The bride-elect attended Kent State University and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in physical education at Youngstown State University, where she will graduate in December.
The prospective groom is a treasury management sales specialist with First Place Bank. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif., and a bachelor's in economics at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He is pursuing a master's in economics at KSU.
