Miss Thompson to be bride of Mr. Stanford

XAnnounced is the engagement of Brittney A. Thompson, a daughter of Niuitam and Beatrice Thompson, 724 Indiana Ave., McDonald, and Lester Stanford Jr., 4201 Logangate Road, Youngstown, a son of Vanessa Stanford, 7438 Becky Court, Boardman, and the late Lester Stanford Sr.
The bride-elect is attending Youngstown State University and is a driver's exam desk clerk with the Ohio State Highway Patrol in Niles.
The future groom attended YSU and is employed at Delphi Packard Electric Systems in Warren.
The couple will be married in an open ceremony Aug. 5 at Victory Christian Center in Lowellville. The ceremony will be at 2:30 p.m., and an invitation-only reception will be held that evening at the Regency House, Youngstown.
