Kidds' 40th wedding anniversary marked by renewal of nuptial vows

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kidd, 1215 Woodhurst Drive, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary June 25 by renewing their marriage vows during a ceremony that took place at St. Columba Cathedral.
Hosts for the observance were the couple's children and their spouses, Scott and Lisa Kidd of Youngstown and Kim and Jeff Smith of Ravenna. There are three grandchildren in the family.
The former Vicki Wilson and Mr. Kidd were married June 18, 1966, at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska. They are members of St. Joseph Church, Austintown.
Mrs. Kidd is a secretary with the Diocese of Youngstown.
Mr. Kidd served with the U.S. Air Force and retired in 1999 from General Motors Corp. in Lordstown.
