Family celebration held for DeOreo 65th anniversary

XWARREN -- Mr. and Mrs. Stephen DeOreo, 2437 Henn Hyde Road, were honored by family members during a dinner party held June 10 at Buena Vista Restaurant in observance of the couple's 65th wedding anniversary.
Mr. DeOreo and the former Ethel Morrison were united in marriage May 3, 1941, at St. Patrick Church. They are members of Queen of Holy Rosary Church in Vienna.
Their family includes two children and their spouses, Carolyn and Edwin Kirkland of Cortland and Stephen Lee and Cheryl DeOreo of North Canton; four grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. DeOreo retired from Packard Electric in 1986, and Mrs. DeOreo retired in 1987 from the Howland School System. They are active with the Warren and Niles SCOPE Senior Players.
