Warren man dies in car-truck crash
HOWLAND -- An 18-year-old Warren man was killed when the car he was riding in failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a pickup truck Monday afternoon at King Graves and Howland-Wilson roads, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
Dead is Alex Petridis of Raglan Drive, who was a front seat passenger in a car driven by a juvenile male. The driver and a juvenile male passenger were taken to St. Joseph Health Center following the 4:15 p.m. accident. The patrol declined to identify the juveniles.
The car was southbound on Howland-Wilson Road when it was struck on its passenger side door by a pickup truck being driven east on King Graves by Mark D. Vivaronda, 45, of Celestial Drive, Warren, who declined treatment at the scene.
