McDonald rolls past Sebring



Ashleigh Tondo paced the Blue Devils to their 15th straight win, 72-32.
MCDONALD -- Senior Ashleigh Tondo collected 24 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and six steals as the McDonald High girls basketball team defeated Sebring Monday, 72-32.
In support of Tondo, sisters Amy and Emily Dolsak scored 15 and 13 points, respectively for the Blue Devils (15-0, 9-0 ICL).
Ashley Annabeli scored 15 points and Megan Allcorn had 10 for the Trojans.
Springfield 64, Jackson-Milton 48
NORTH JACKSON -- Mindy Ritzler scored 13 points and Springfield outscored the Bluejays 23-9 in the third quarter to take control.
Ritzler scored six points in the third quarter, which ended with the Tigers (8-6, 6-3 ICL) ahead 51-31.
Christy Warren and Samantha Cavalier added nine points each for Springfield, and Brittany Chamberlain had seven rebounds.
Jackson-Milton (5-10, 2-7) was led by Elizabeth Hughes, with 13 points and five rebounds, and Jillian Adams, with 11 points.
Lowellville 70,Western Reserve 40
LOWELLVILLE -- The Rockets' (8-6, 6-3) balanced attack had four players in double figures.
The Rockets with a 34-19 lead at the intermission, put it out of reach with a 20-0 third quarter spurt.
Jacque Schrader led the Rockets' attack with 18 points. Ali Grapevine chipped in with 17 points and she pulled down 11 rebounds. Kristen Pallozzi added 13 points and Kaitlin McCarthy had 12 and eight assists.
Lainey Kekic led the Blue Devils (5-9, 2-7) with 15 points. McKenzie Mowery finished with 10.
Mineral Ridge 58, South Range 56
MINERAL RIDGE -- Rachael Siler made a layup with four seconds remaining to give the Rams (5-10, 2-7) the victory, which avenged a 56-44 setback to the Raiders (10-5, 7-2) last Dec. 15.
Abbey Kiger paced the Rams with 20 points and she had nine rebounds and four assists. Siler added 17 and she had 9 rebounds.
Annie Semko sparked South Range with 16 points. Cindy Schuler, Autumn Carter and Heather Stacy added 14, 12 and 10, respectively.
