GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Chris Pronger scored the tying goal with 0.3 seconds left to force overtime, and Edmonton completed its stunning comeback by beating Phoenix in a shootout. Marty Reasoner beat Phoenix's Mike Ricci in a faceoff that began with 2.2 seconds remaining to get the puck to Pronger, and the big defenseman threaded a one-timer through traffic, beating Curtis Joseph. Ales Hemsky and Radek Dvorak then scored on Joseph in the shootout that was extended to six rounds. Joseph had 27 saves through overtime. Coyotes captain Shane Doan scored on Mike Morrison to keep the Coyotes in the tiebreaker after Hemsky, the third Edmonton skater, put the puck in. Raffi Torres and Ryan Smyth had Edmonton's other goals, and Morrison stopped 12 shots.
Capitals 2, Lightning 1
WASHINGTON -- Dainius Zubrus scored with 2:20 left in regulation to lift Washington. Jeff Halpern also scored for the Capitals, who snapped a three-game losing streak. Vincent Lacavalier had the lone goal for the Lightning, who had gone 5-0-1 in their previous six games. Tampa Bay's Evegny Artyukhin almost forced overtime. With 0.5 seconds left, his shot glanced off the right post and through the crease behind goalie Olie Kolzig.
Flames 5, Blackhawks 3
CHICAGO -- Roman Hamrlik had a goal and two assists as Calgary rallied with four unanswered goals. The Flames trailed 3-1 in the first period, but got goals from Hamrlik, Steven Reinprecht, Dion Phaneuf and Chuck Kobasew to snap a two-game losing streak. Calgary's Darren McCarty scored in the first. Reinprecht, Phaneuf and Kobasew all scored power-play goals, as Calgary went 3-for-6 with the advantage. Phaneuf's 5-on-3 goal late in the second period snapped a 3-3 tie and stood up as the game-winner.
