SALEM With new pact, comedian will move to Branson

When he's not performing in Branson, he'll be entertaining on a cruise line.
SALEM -- Comedian-magician Christopher Greenamyer's career will take him to a number of new locations this year.
The Salem-based performer, who regularly entertains at colleges, comedy clubs and for corporate events, will move to Branson, Mo., where he has signed a contract with the Silver Dollar City resort. Greenamyer will do his act -- comedy, with a healthy dose of sleight of hand -- daily throughout the tourist season, which runs from April through December.
During the off-season, Greenamyer will take his act to sea. He's been hired as a shipboard entertainer for the Holland America cruise line.
During any downtime, he'll be entertaining U.S. troops at bases throughout the world. Greenamyer has been selected by Armed Forces Entertainment, a division of the USO, as an entertainer.
Greenamyer will be performing in March at the Funny Farm's Boardman location in Soffo's on South Avenue.
