XHUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- Joyce Ann Snovak and Richard Earl Hebbard III, both of 8210 Rolling Meadows Lane, were united in marriage Dec. 28 at their home.
The Rev. Heather Casselberry officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony, and a dinner was held afterward at an area restaurant.
The couple spent their honeymoon on a ski trip to New Hampshire.
Parents of the bride are Richard and Mary Ann Snovak, 722 Sanderson Ave., Campbell. The groom is a son of Ann Hebbard, 19 Pheasant Lane, Barrington, N.H.
Patricia Kunder of Baltimore served as the honor attendant. She wore a black gown.
The duties of best man were performed by the bride's brother, Andy Snovak of Concord, N.C.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in elementary education. She is a teacher at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in Charlotte, N.C.
The groom served four years with the U.S. Navy and two years with the Naval Reserves, and is a member of the North Carolina Air National Guard. He is a stock supervisor with Banana Republic in Concord, N.C., and is pursuing a degree in civil engineering at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte.
