Mahoning grand jury indicts county employee for 2nd time

YOUNGSTOWN -- A Struthers man and former Mahoning County employee has been indicted for a second time this month on charges of receiving stolen property.
A direct presentment was made to a Mahoning County grand jury, which on Thursday handed up an indictment for Carmine Ramunno, 23, of Edison Street, on four counts of receiving stolen property.
Ramunno is accused of possessing Dell Inspiron computers last March and April that belonged to Youngstown State University.
Ramunno also was indicted Jan. 12 for receiving stolen property. He was arrested in December in a burglary at a home on Overlook Boulevard in Boardman, where jewelry was taken.
He was fired in December from the county sanitary engineer's department, where he worked as a technician and recorded location of manholes using a Global Positioning System.
Ramunno worked as an intern with the sanitary engineer's department while attending YSU before he was hired full time.
