Dinner to honor Annie McRae Brown

YOUNGSTOWN -- A recognition dinner will honor Annie McRae Brown at 5 p.m. Feb. 4 at St. Andrewes African Methodist Episcopal Church, 521 W. Earle Ave., where she has been a member since 1942.
She has served as president of the Williams-Heath Missionary Society and Lay Organization, secretary of the trustee board, secretary of the local Lay Organization, director assistant of the Senior Sanctuary Choir, secretary of North Ohio Lay Conference, member of Bible Study Class, Sunday School, kitchen committee and budget and finance commission.
Her husband, Andrew J. Brown Sr., is deceased. Her children are Andrew Brown Jr., Charles Brown, Richard Brown and Susan Brown-Carey. She has five grandsons and a granddaughter.
