PUBLIC LIBRARY Administrative raises

The trustees of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County extended the contract of director Carlton A. Sears through 2010, and granted him a 3.4 percent cost-of-living pay raise. The move will increase his annual salary from $96,000 to $99,264. Sears has been director since 1997. Trustees also reappointed Dr. David Ritchie, Millicent Counts, Dr. Thomas D.Y. Fok, Josephine Houser and Harold E. Moore to three-year terms. Their current terms expire Tuesday. Other pay raises approved at Thursday's meeting at main branch on Wick Avenue:
