LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Taquan Dean, who missed all but 12 minutes of Louisville's last five games with a sprained ankle, scored 16 points as No. 22 Louisville snapped a three-game losing streak with a 67-50 victory over Cincinnati.
Dean, who didn't start, fueled a decisive 13-0 run early in the second half as the Cardinals (14-5, 2-4 Big East) dominated their former Conference-USA rival from the start.
Eric Hicks had 15 points and tied a career high with 17 rebounds for the Bearcats (14-6, 3-3), who turned the ball over 25 times, leading to 36 Louisville points.
Louisville forward Juan Palacios broke out of a season-long slump, scoring 19 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in his best game of the year as Louisville played with the kind of urgency coach Rick Pitino has been looking. It was the Cardinals' first Big East victory at home.
Dean wore a heavy black brace on his left ankle when he entered the game less than three minutes in. After a sluggish few minutes, Dean's first 3-pointer in 10 days gave the Cardinals a 13-point lead, but it was a 2-minute stretch in the second half that breathed life into Louisville's formerly foundering season.
Butler 55, Cleveland St. 51
CLEVELAND -- A.J. Graves, who had earlier missed two free throws, made two with five seconds remaining for Butler.
The Bulldogs (10-8, 3-3 Horizon League) led 34-25 at the half and were on top 53-46 with 1:50 left before Cleveland State (8-10, 4-4) made a final run.
Brandon Polk led Butler with 29 points and 11 rebounds, with Graves adding nine points, seven rebounds and three assists.

Wright State (8-9, 4-3) used a 11-2 run at the end of the first half to take a 37-28 lead, then extended it to 50-35 in the opening six minutes of the second half.

PHILADELPHIA -- Antywane Robinson hit the winning baseline jumper with 1.1 seconds left to help Temple survive a monumental collapse. Mardy Collins scored a season-high 28 points, Robinson had 17 and Mark Tyndale 15 for the Owls (10-7, 3-4 Atlantic 10), who won for the fourth time in five games and sixth time in seven home games. Xavier (12-4, 3-2) hit one 3-pointer after another as it rallied back from a 16-point deficit with 7:25 left.
