CANFIELD
Jan. 15
Drugs: Two arrests were made on drug charges after police stopped a man on a traffic violation. An 18-year-old Leetonia man was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, drug abuse, obtain, possess, use and conceal. Police found a silver and green pipe containing marijuana residue in it. Also arrested was an 18-year-old Canfield man accused of possessing two small plastic bags of marijuana and a clear and plain plastic pipe containing marijuana residue.
Jan. 16
Drug paraphernalia: An 18-year-old North Jackson man was arrested at Fairview and East Main Street on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, drug abuse, obtaining and possessing. Police found a pack of rolling papers and a marijuana cigarette.
Jan. 17
Attempted theft: Someone tried to steal two 4-inch range speakers from a Dodge Viper in the auto shop lab at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.
Jan. 19
Stolen vehicle: A 32-year-old Youngstown man and his accomplice were charged with receiving stolen property after police stopped the man and found out he was driving a stolen vehicle. A 32-year-old New Castle, Pa., man was also charged with stealing razors from Giant Eagle worth over $500.
K-9 sniff: The Canfield K-9 officer was asked to assist Youngstown drug agents at a house in Youngstown, and turned up several ripped and empty baggies of heroin residue.

Jan. 16
Lost or stolen plates: An Ohio temporary tag was reported missing in the township.
Theft: A man driving a black pickup with a red stripe stole an unknown amount of metal racks from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: Two 2005 Chevrolet Cavaliers were stolen from Product Action, 400 Victoria Road.
Theft: $34.20 in gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: $27.60 in gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station.
Theft: $17.87 in gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station.
Theft: $43.02 in gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station.
Theft: $30.22 in gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station.
Attempted breaking and entering: There was damage to a door but no entry was gained at Wickliffe Barber, 4222 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: An aluminum rim and tire were taken from a vehicle in the lot at Bob and Chuck Eddy's Chrysler, 4850 Mahoning Ave.
Lost or stolen plate: An Ohio dealer plate was taken from 4850 Mahoning Avenue.
Burglary: Money was taken from a home in the 100 block of Carnegie Avenue.

Receiving stolen property: A 19-year old man was placed in county jail for receiving stolen property, a 1989 Buick at North Meridian Road and Crum Road.
Criminal mischief: Lawn damage was reported at a home in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft from auto: An AM-FM CD car stereo and compact discs were stolen from an auto at the apartments in the 4000 block of Westchester Square.
Criminal damaging: A window was damaged at a residence in the 50 block of Canfield-Niles Road.
Auto theft: A 1998 black Buick with no registration was stolen from S & amp;C Auto, 3733 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Unknown items were taken from a vacant house in the 3000 block of Meridian Road.
Theft: A man was accused of stealing cigarettes and using stolen checks at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Jan. 18
Theft: A woman was accused of stealing lottery tickets at the B.P. gas station, 3107 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: $10.23 in gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Forum Health, 20 Ohltown Road.
Theft from auto: Miscellaneous items were taken from an auto at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Burglary: A copper pipe was taken from a residence in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Jan. 19
Drug offense: A woman from Youngstown was arrested on drug charges including abusing cocaine, drug paraphernalia and permitting drug abuse at Hendricks Road and Meridian Road.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a structure in the 4000 block of Burkey Road and took a Lincoln welder and a chainsaw.
Theft: $200 in cash was taken from a purse at Wal-Mart.
Theft: Lottery tickets were stolen from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A gasoline drive-off by a GMC truck was reported at Sheetz gas station.
Theft: Gas was stolen in a drive-off by a red Dodge Ram at Sheetz gas station.
Gas drive-off: A white four-door Chevrolet drove off without paying for gas at Sheetz gas station.
Theft: A gold GMC Envoy drove off without paying for gas at Sheetz.
Jan. 20
Theft from vehicle: A lunch box was taken with tools from vehicles in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: Three credit cards were stolen from a home in the 30 block of Kroeck Avenue.
Theft: A lottery ticket was stolen from IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched in the parking lot at apartments in the 10 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft from auto: Keys were stolen from an auto in the apartments in the 4000 block of Westchester apartments.
Theft from auto: A Pioneer stereo, compact discs, jumper cables and a jacket were stolen from an auto at the apartments in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: Someone in a white Honda Civic stole gas in a drive-off at Sheetz gas station.
Theft: Musical instruments were stolen from Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.
Theft from auto: A bowling bag with a ball and a compressor and compact discs were stolen from an auto parked at apartments in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Auto theft: A 1998 Ford Ranger was stolen from an apartment parking area in the 400 block of Westchester Drive.

Auto theft: A 1990 gray Buick LeSabre was stolen from Billy's, 40 S. Meridian Road.
Theft from auto: Twenty-seven leather coats were stolen from a vehicle at Chipper's Bar, 5 N. Edgehill Ave.
Criminal damaging: Damage to a lawn was reported at a home in the 2000 block of Sprucewood Court.
Theft: A Grillmaster gas grill was stolen from a home in the 700 block of Notre Dame Drive.
Breaking and entering: Entry was gained, but nothing was taken at Austintown Beverage, 4903 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: A face plate, compact disc and Giant Eagle card were stolen from an auto at Chipper's, 5 N. Edgehill Ave.

Criminal trespass: A woman from Youngstown was issued two summonses for criminal trespassing at the T.A. Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Drug offense: A man from Youngstown was placed in the county jail after being arrested on charges of felony drug offenses, drug abuse of cocaine and resisting arrest at Noday's, 3713 Oakwood Ave.
Criminal damaging: Damage to a garage was reported at a home in the 100 block of North Edgehill Avenue.
Burglary: Three juveniles were apprehended in connection with a burglary at a home in the 4000 block of Crum Road.
