Allen will appear at Barnes & amp; Noble

BOARDMAN -- Singer-songwriter Ashton Allen will perform a 30-minute set from his debut album "Dewdrops" at noon Wednesday at Barnes & amp; Noble bookstore, 381 Boardman-Poland Road. The performance is free.
Allen, who was featured in the Barnes & amp; Noble Discover Great New Artists program, has been compared to Elliott Smith and Simon & amp; Garfunkel. He will sign copies of his CD after the show.
