XBOARDMAN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place Dec. 23 during a 3 p.m. ceremony as Marci Mastell and Raymond Vogelberger were united in marriage at St. Charles Church.
The Rev. Matthew M. Mankowski presided at the wedding for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew D. Mastell Sr. of Struthers and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Vogelberger of Poland.
Afterward the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at the Maronite Center, Youngstown.
Rhinestones and pearls adorned the platinum trim on the bodice and hemline of the bride's white satin gown.
The bride's sister and honor attendant, Melissa Swantek, wore a midnight-blue gown, as did the bridesmaids, Gina Galich, Jana Stewart, Rebecca Rose, Amy Harvilla and the groom's sister, Christina Hufnagel.
Best men were Donnie Poulakos and Shane Headley, and groomsmen were Matthew D. Mastell Jr., the bride's brother; James Swantek, her brother-in-law; Larry Long; and Brian Hufnagel, the groom's brother-in-law. Ring bearer was Tyler Hufnagel, the groom's nephew.
The bride graduated from Bethany College in West Virginia with a bachelor's degree in education and from Youngstown State University with a master's in special education. She is a special-education teacher with Columbiana Exempt Village Schools. The groom, an electrician, received a degree in electrical technology from New Castle School of Trades.The couple live in Boardman.
