WINTER ON THE LINKS: Members of the Youngstown Country Club put their clubs away and played archery golf -- then posed for this picture that ran in the Jan. 25, 1931, Rotogravure. The "golfers" included some of the city's most prominent men of the day and were identified as, from left to right, F. Geer, M.Z. Bentley, C.F. Owsley, R.G. Davis, M.I. Arms, W.B. Young, M.S. Curtis, George Jones, L.E. Wallace, I. Taylor and J. H. Wilson.
