Admission is $5 and two cards are free, and there will be a 50-50 drawing. The Green Thumb Garden Club will meet Feb. 7 for a bus trip to Cleveland Home and Garden Show "Holland in Bloom." The cost is $35. A public valentine dinner dance will be held Feb. 8. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the buffet dinner will be served at 6:30. The cost is $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Space is limited to the first 60 paid patrons. No walk-ins. The Red Hatters will sponsor a bus trip to Mountaineer Feb. 9. A Red Hat show and tea are included. Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday, outing to Panera Bread at 11 a.m. and bridge at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting and exercises at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 a.m. and noon, blood pressure screening at noon and Digital Club at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m., tai chi at noon, blood pressure screening at 12:30 p.m., and 500 cards and yoga at 1; and Thursday, Watch Our Weight Support Group and woodcarvers at 9 a.m., Hugs and Stitches Sewing Group at 10, blood pressure screenings at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., exercises at noon, square dancing at 1 p.m. and line dancing at 3. Reservations are required for the bingo and dessert to be held at 1 p.m. Friday by Carrington South Healthcare. The Lifeline Ohio discount is $12.39 a month for eligible applicants.
