NHL ROUNDUP Friday's games

Blue Jackets 4, Blues 3, SO
COLUMBUS -- Rick Nash's shootout goal gave Columbus the victory St. Louis and stretched St. Louis' losing streak to nine. Nash scored on Curtis Sanford, who took over for the injured Jason Bacashihua late in regulation. Marc Denis, who had 41 saves before the shootout, then stopped Mike Sillinger -- who scored earlier to extend his goal streak to four games -- to clinch the win. There were three short-handed goals -- Sillinger and Dennis Wideman for St. Louis, and David Vyborny for the Blue Jackets. Dean McAmmond also had a goal for the Blues. Jan Hrdina and Nikolai Zherdev had the other Columbus goals.
Wild 4, Blackhawks 1
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Rookie defenseman Kurtis Foster had a goal and assist, and Manny Fernandez made 31 saves to lift Minnesota. Foster leads first-year defensemen with nine goals. Fernandez has an NHL-best 2.02 goals against average and is tied for first with a .929 save percentage. Kyle Wanvig, Marian Gaborik and Randy Robitaille also scored for Minnesota, which has won two straight to complete a seven-game homestand 3-4. Duncan Keith scored for Chicago, which lost in regulation for the first time in five games.
Lightning 6, Stars 3
DALLAS -- Brad Richards' short-handed tally triggered Tampa Bay's four-goal, first-period flurry against Marty Turco. The Lightning scored on four of their first six shots against Turco, who was pulled at 12:35 in favor of Johan Hedberg. Turco, who missed the previous game due to a groin injury, was removed for the third time in six starts. He has allowed eight goals in the last 21 shots he's faced. Darryl Sydor, Ruslan Fedotenko and Pavel Kubina also scored in the first period for the Lightning, who handed the Stars a season-worst third consecutive loss. Ryan Craig added a goal and two assists, Vaclav Prospal had two assists, and Sean Burke stopped 26 shots for defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay. Niko Kapanen, Jaroslav Svoboda and Jason Arnott scored for Dallas.
