Hubbard man, 47, found dead

YOUNGSTOWN -- Police are investigating the death of Joseph Roy White, 47, of Drummond Avenue, Hubbard, whose body was found in a locked pickup truck at 36 Early Road around 6 p.m. Saturday.
A witness told police that White and a man known only as "Louie" borrowed the truck and planned to buy crack cocaine and heroin.
Shortly after they returned, Louie got out of the truck and ran away, the witness said, adding that White was slumped over in the truck.
The Mahoning County coroner's office is aiding in the investigation but had no report available Saturday.
