Police investigate Handyman robbery

WARREN -- Police are investigating an armed robbery in which two masked men took $1,300 from Handyman Hardware Store, 455 Elm Road N.E. A store clerk told police the gunman, wearing a black ski mask, walked up to the cash register, pointed a handgun at her and demanded she give him the money in a plastic bag, or he would shoot her.
His accomplice in the 7 p.m. Monday robbery, who was wearing a red bandanna over his face, stood near the front door as a lookout. The clerk told police she put all the money in the bag, and the robbers fled north on foot.
