GIRLS BASKETBALL Rachel Coristin sparks Youngstown Christian



YOUNGSTOWN -- Rachel Coristin collected 18 points and 15 rebounds Tuesday as the Youngstown Christian girls basketball team defeated Ashtabula Sts. John & amp; Paul, 46-44.
The Eagles have won 12 straight games while the Heralds are the three-time defending champs of the East Suburban Conference.
Coristin scored a basket with 55 seconds remaining to give the Eagles a 46-42 lead. The Eagles led the entire game and were up 27-16 at the break.
Kara Cooper added 12 points and Kara Pecchia had 10 points for the Eagles (12-1, 5-0 ESC).
Kitlyn Tinney had 20 points for the Heralds (8-4, 3-2).
Fitch 59, Chaney 27
AUSTINTOWN -- After holding Chaney scoreless in the second quarter, the Falcons took a 30-6 lead at the break.
Alexis Hall scored 15 points for the Falcons (6-7).
Brittainny Cobb led Chaney with 11 points.
Harding 44, Campbell 26
WARREN -- Eight players got into the scoring column for Warren Harding (2-9), led by Kamela Bender and Kayla Sparks with nine points each.
Dana Moore had eight points for Campbell (1-10), which tied the Raiders at 6-6 after the opening period, but then went scoreless in the second quarter.
Sharon 70, Commodore Perry 23
HADLEY, Pa. -- Nikki Odem had 15 points and six rebounds while Janine McDonal added 14 points and Brittany Csatlos 10 steals and eight points to power Sharon (15-1, 8-0 District 10 Region I Class AA).
Commodore Perry dropped to 4-12 and 1-7 in the league.
