ACTING Ex-Valley residents' son has part in CBS show

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. -- Braeden Lemasters, 9, a son of former Mahoning Valley residents Dave and Michelle Lemasters, has a guest-star role on the CBS television show "Criminal Minds" Wednesday at 9 p.m.
He also has a role in the upcoming feature film "Beautiful Loser," due for a late-summer release.
Dave Lemasters was a guitarist in the popular regional rock band Left End from 1987 to 2003. He also played with the Hern Brothers, 14-K, Masterz and Johnson, Triple Play and the Benders.
The Lemasters moved to the Los Angeles area in September 2003, when Braeden was 7. He will be 10 on Jan. 27.
Boy's roles
Braeden had his first speaking role on the HBO show "Six Feet Under" in July, his father said. Braeden played the part of Frankie.
On Wednesday's "Criminal Minds" episode, he plays the role of Eric Fisher and is billed as a guest star.
He plays the supporting role of Jake in "Beautiful Loser," his first feature film.
Braeden is also currently working on a national Wal-Mart commercial. He will be in five scenes for the 15- and 30- second commercials, which will be introduced in the summer. Braeden has also done commercials for Honda and McDonald's.
Dave Lemasters, a Howland native, is playing in a duo with a Youngstown native, Jim Jeffery, and works as a guitar instructor.
Braeden's grandparents are Dave and Betty Lemasters and Carol Donnadio, all of Warren.
