Body found after fire was homicide victim

GROVE CITY, Pa. (AP) -- A woman whose body was found in the remains of a house destroyed by fire Saturday was slain, authorities said.
Brandi Dunn, 22, of Slippery Rock, died of blunt force trauma to the head, the Mercer County coroner ruled. Further toxicological tests are pending, he said.
State police said the 7:30 a.m. fire at Dunn's parents' home in Grove City, about 60 miles north of Pittsburgh, was deliberately set. Dunn's body was found once the flames had been extinguished about 10:30 a.m. Her death has been classified a homicide.
Dunn and her husband, Scott, who reported the fire, had been staying at the home of John and Deborah Montgomery, who were spending the winter in California, authorities said.
