Best Bets on TV Tonight

"Hustle" (10 p.m., AMC): So much for the networks. The cable series "Hustle" might be the most promising new midseason show. Set in London, it's a smart, stylish story about a crew of slick con artists. Not since "The Sting" have we had this much fun watching grifters do their thing. Old pro Robert Vaughn is surrounded by an engaging ensemble cast.
